How To Update WHOIS Information

For legal and security purposes, all WHOIS change requests associated with your account must be made via email or fax. The following information will be required to process your request.

- Provide us with the WHOIS change needed. Please be as specific as possible.
- Any other information that may be necessary.
- On company letterhead (if possible).

You may email your request to fax@localnethosting.com. If you choose to email your request, the email must come from the account holder's email address.

Alternatively, requests can be sent via fax and must be signed by the account holder or a secondary contact listed on the account. Faxes can be sent to 1-815-550-9925 (Attention: LocalNet Hosting)

To ensure your request has been received, we ask that you also call us shortly after you send over your request at 1-888-488-7265 (option3).

Please note that domain names are intellectual property belonging to you (the registrant), not LocalNet Internet Services Inc (the registrar). You (the registrant) are responsible for maintaining up-to-date WHOIS information by following the above procedure whenever your contact information changes. This is important so that we (the registrar) may contact you (the registrant) when important matters are at hand, and keep your domain name ownership rights intact. Maintaining WHOIS information is the sole responsibility of you (the registrant). LocalNet Internet Services Inc IS NOT responsible for any loss or damages incurred by the registrant for failure to maintain up-to-date WHOIS information.
